AARON Black is keeping his fingers crossed that he suffered no major injury on his right knee Sunday in billion casino royal:Meralco’s 74-51 win over Magnolia in the PBA Philippine Cup.
The 27-year-old guard admitted not feeling well after hurting his knee early in the third quarter of the game at the Philsports Arena. He is set to undergo an MRI test on Monday morning, according to team manager Paolo Trillo.MORE FROM SPIN

Black not feeling good on injured knee
“Right now, it’s not really feeling good,” said Black. “I can’t put much weight on it. Praying for the best.” Black exited at the 10:07 mark of the third after banging his knee. He finished with three points, five rebounds, and two assists in 16 minutes of play. “Sabi niya (Black) hindi lang makirot, pero he heard something pop. So we’re praying for AB,” said coach Luigi Trillo during the post-game presser. “We know Aaron will be back eventually. But for now we can’t say really anything. Our prayers are with AB and we’ll see once that MRI comes out.” The possible absence of Black will certainly hurt the Meralco backcourt especially at a time the team is fighting for a place in the quarterfinals.
